Having grown up on a farm in rural Sussex, Will’s early years were defined by fields and forests but now finds himself based in London, where he works across a wide range of disciplines as an architect, maker and digital artist. Will completed his Bachelor in Architecture at The University of Nottingham, before attending the AA on the prestigious Baylight scholarship. It was there whilst study for his diploma in 2012 he developed an interest in the emerging field of design interactions, which he now explores through audio-visual performance, virtual environments, physical installations and architectural practice.
As a registered architect, Will currently splits his time between HUT Architecture, where he works as a senior architect delivering several key projects in central London; and installation work as Universal Assembly Unit. As a specialist lecturer for Design + Make, Will teaches ‘digital storytelling’ which combines film, animation and digital capture techniques to document, explore and curate the unique output of the course.
