The team is required to load test individual building members at a specified load over a standard 24 hour load test. Featured here is the first component in the testing rig.
The team identified a need for precision assembly and has constructed a second projection base 1:1 layout table that is used to accurately drill each component and double check it’s geometrical accuracy.

The first patch of the reciprocal canopy is being assembled in the Big Shed and consists of over 40 components. When the patch is complete it will be moved out to the work yard and a second patch will be constructed in the Big Shed.
After a much needed summer holiday break, the team and a new cohort of Summer Build volunteers have resumed the steaming, bending, assembly and construction sequence of the Timber Seasoning Shelter.
